Physical Therapy - Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy - Wellness Suggestions

Physical Therapy (PT)

Location: In-Office 

We are currently in-network with Medicare. For those with other insurance plans, or without insurance plans, we offer private pay rates to meet your needs. Following treatment we are able to provide you with a superbill for submission to your insurance company for reimbursement. Refer to our FAQ page for additional information. 

Program includes a comprehensive evaluation (60 min) with additional treatment visits (30-45 min). Please note, the frequency of visits will be established at time of evaluation by your Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Referral: Most insurance plans do not require a referral in the State of Colorado, however we will promptly let you know if your insurance plan requires a referral prior to your first visit. 

Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT)

Programs include a comprehensive evaluation (60 minutes) with additional treatment visits (30 minutes) delivered 1:1 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Mini Myo and Me OMT is a program tailored to ages 5 years and older. This program is completed to re-train the orofacial muscles to promote proper growth and development of the orofacial structures, setting your little one up for success. Please note, we recommend starting this program after your child has successfully weaned from any noxious oral habits, such as thumb and/or finger sucking. Comprehensive OMT is a program designed for adolescents and adults to address orofacial myofunctional disorders through exercises and massage techniques to eliminate/minimize oral habits, establish nasal breathing, achieve lip competence, attain palatal tongue rest position, activate and elevate the back of the tongue, tone the pharyngeal muscles, address functional posture training for the head and neck, and reduce pain.
